New utility knives built for adventures
GEAR AID launches two fixed blade knives designed for outdoor adventures. The Buri, with its drop point blade, is ideal for the avid outdoorsman or woman looking for a balanced, full-tang camp knife. The Akua is a blunt tip knife and sheath with webbing mounts for paddlers. Both knives are equipped with a serrated, 3” blade and a custom sheath with multiple attachment points. Each knife weighs under 6 oz with a suggested retail price of $29.95.
Buri Utility Knife
The Buri drop point knife is built with the outdoor enthusiast in mind. It features two-sided blade, plus a bottle opener for activities at the campsite. The sheath has multiple attachment points including a removable belt clip and 1” webbing slots compatible with MOLLE systems. With a butt end glass breaker, the Buri is also a useful knife for emergencies.
Akua Rescue Knife
For paddle fans, the Akua blunt tip knife is well equipped with a serrated blade, line cutter, screw/pry tip, and glass breaker. Whether you're paddling the river or preparing food, this knife attaches easily to your PFD lash tab, boat deck, or gear. Be ready when the situation arises, and a sturdy cutting tool is required during a boating trip.
